MJ Marketing
Google Ads Consulting · Strategy & Sparring

You have a team in-house. You just need the experienced head who'll say honestly what matters for the next 90 days.

Strategic consulting instead of monthly management — as sparring partner, reviewer, or escalation point. Mijo directly, on hourly or sprint basis.

First call free · honest assessment whether I'm the right fit.

What it looks like

Three typical consulting formats.

  1. Format 1

    Strategy sprint (4 weeks)

Weekly 90-min calls + Slack/email support for a concrete initiative (e.g. new campaign, tracking restructure, platform expansion). Fixed scope, fixed price.

  2. Format 2

    Monthly advisor (ongoing)

1 strategy call per month (60-90 min) + email support for open questions. Your team executes — I'm the external reviewer and sparring partner.

  3. Format 3

    Ad-hoc hours

Book consulting hours as needed — no minimum quantity, no commitment. Ideal if you only need a second opinion 2-3 times per quarter.

How consulting runs

Three principles, no slide decks.

01

Preparation

Before each call: you send the question, I look at the relevant data (15-30 min prep). Calls don't start with "tell me the situation again".

02

Direct output

Each call ends with concrete next steps (3-5 actions, prioritised). You get a written summary within 24h — nothing gets lost in the calendar.

03

Honest assessments

If I think your planned strategy won't work, I'll say so. If I don't know the answer, I say "I don't know" — and clarify it by the next call.

Pricing

Transparent. Three formats.

Hourly rate or sprint package — depending on how ongoing the consulting should be. First call always free.

What consulting is NOT

Consulting means strategy, reviews, sparring. Not: I log in and do the optimisation. If you want someone who works on the account weekly — book Google Ads management. Consulting is the format when you or your team handles the execution.

First call

Free, 20 min — honest assessment whether I'm the right fit.

Monthly Advisor

3 months minimum, then cancellable monthly.

Hour tracking

Toggl reports available on request.

What you don't get

Anti-bullshit guarantee.

What others sell as "consulting" — and I explicitly don't do:

No 40-slide strategy decks

Strategy is 5 bullet points + decisions. Whoever needs 40 slides usually doesn't know what to recommend and camouflages with volume.

No sales calls disguised as consulting

The first call IS the first call — not a hidden sales pitch. If after the call I say you don't need an agency, I mean it.

No buzzword bingo

No "synergistic customer-centric performance funnel mapping" here. We talk about conversion paths, bid strategies and account structure — in plain language.

No generic industry templates

What works at one SaaS can be nonsense at a practice. Each consulting engagement adapts to your market and your team — not the other way around.

FAQ

Common consulting questions.

You, if you have an internal team or an executing agency — but need an honest second opinion. Or: solo founder still learning who doesn't want to believe every sales pitch. Or: head of marketing who needs someone to honestly review their agency.
Audit is standalone, one-off, 5-day delivery with PDF. Consulting is ongoing or sprint-based — we work on a question together, you ask back, I respond quickly. Audit answers once, consulting answers continuously.
Yes, via ad-hoc hours — minimum booking 2 hours (prep + call + follow-up). For regular calls, Monthly Advisor is cheaper.
Anything in the Google Ads universe: strategy, account structure, tracking, Smart Bidding, platform expansion (Bing/Microsoft Ads), Performance Max, server-side setup, seasonal planning, competitive response. If I don't know the answer, I say so.
Standard NDA on request. For agency clients (whitelabel consulting for their customers): NDA applies anyway.
No. Consulting isn't a performance contract. I deliver consistent prep, honest assessments and sound reasoning. The execution is on you or your team — that's out of my hands.

First call

20 minutes — we check the fit.

You briefly explain situation and question. I honestly say whether I'm the right fit or you need someone else. If it fits, we agree on a format — if not, the conversation hopefully helps anyway.
